💙💛 Taking Care of Our Jackets! 💛💙
With these hot August days, we’ve been making sure our students have a cold bottle of water in hand as they head home on the buses each afternoon!
Today, we had a little extra help from our friends at Stone Bank! We’re so thankful for community partners who are always willing to jump in and help take care of our kids.
It’s the little things that make a BIG difference. Thank you, Stone Bank, for helping us keep our Jackets cool! 🐝

Two Mountain View High School students are traveling to New York City to participate in the Honors Performance Concert Series at Carnegie Hall. Emily will be performing with the ensemble after being selected from thousands of nationwide competitive auditions. One of only 4 alto saxophones chosen, she will perform with the 102 member band.
Sarah, tuba, was selected as First Runner up and will participate in related activities.
MVHS Band Director Blake Henley says, “I’m very proud of both of the girls. Performing at Carnegie Hall is the dream of every musician. Emily is the first high school student I’ve ever had to have earned the opportunity to play there. I’m sure They will represent Mountain View Schools and Stone County well.”
