With 10:40 left in game, Newport scores and hits the Point after to go up by 42.

With a little over 4 minutes left in 3rd, J’air Jackson intercepts a Greyhound pass on the Mountain View 15.

With 9:53 left in 3rd, Newport scores and converts to go up by 35.

With 41 seconds left in half Newport’s scores and converts for the extra 3 to go up by 27. Jackets remain scoreless.

3:41 left in 2nd quarter touchdown is good, but 2 point conversion fails, so score is 0-19, Newport.

Unless we have another change, we will follow the following schedule for the rest of the 1st semester. No school on the following dates: Friday, Oct. 9 (flu shot clinic will be rescheduled) Friday, Nov. 6 Mon. - Friday, November 23-27 Mon. -Friday, December 21-25 and Dec. 28-Jan. 1 All other Fridays not listed above will be Blended Learning Days that will allow those students who want to attend to be present, but other students may choose to log in and do lessons from home. There is a change in the works for attendance for distance/quarantine/blended learning students that is set to start 2nd 9 weeks, on November 2. More details about those changes will follow. Thanks,
